Information on Passports

Some of you may have expired passports or need to obtain your first. You DO NOT need this for the trip to St. John. The islands of St. Thomas, which you’ll be flying into, is a part of the U.S. Virgin Islands- no passports are needed. Included in the USVI are St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix. However, just due North East are the BEAUTIFUL British Virgin Islands in which you would need a passport. These islands include Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke, Anegada (to name a few). I HIGHLY suggest getting a passport to visit the beautiful beaches of the BVI. People often will plan a day trip to the BVI, especially to see “The Baths” at Virgin Gorda. Also, if you were to plan on renting a boat or catamaran, you may cross over into the BVI territory in the waters and need your passports.

The process is really easy! Just go to your local post office and they will take care of you! The price is ~$100 per passport.
